We dodged that Suarez road shitstorm, got the right read on Atlanta, and now San Diego is sitting there in an hour staring at us like another bag.
Question is simple are we pressing, or are we being responsible adults for once

Not really. Pfaadt is highly flammable. He did pitch well his last time out against San Fran, but that was his first start after working in the pen. Buehler got lit up last start, but that was at the Wrigley bandbox with the wind blowing out. So only counterpoint would be Pfaadt pitched well last outing and Buehler got hammered.

That is the main CP. Pfaadt looked better last time out and Buehler got clipped.
But I do not think that flips the cap
Pfaadt having one good start after working out of the pen does not suddenly make him safe. The larger point is still flammable and San Diego has enough right now bats to make him work
On the Buehler side yes he got hit last time but that was Wrigley with the wind blowing out. That is a totally different kind of deal Now he gets Petco and we only need the first five.
So I respect the point. That is why this is not a press yet

That's all I got. Both teams are awful. Buehler's history vs AZ is really good. I'm out of it either way.
