I think it's more to do with someone starting threads about sharps and squares and how everyone is so stupid to gather on the same pick, that somehow it can't win........along comes a team that has won two games out of their last 19, and somehow everybody's dumb for betting on the other team that has won 7 out of 10 and are rolling.
At least there are a few people in this forum who put some thoughts behind their picks and can come to a conclusion as to who's going to win the game based on issues and factors decided on the field, then there are the trap, bait, too many people, and all the other voodoo shit factors that people dream up instead of being practical and basing picks in solid reasoning and the players on the field.
Maybe I should throw salt over my shoulder just to be sure the next team I bet that plays 1000 miles away from me wins.
