God only knows Moosey. You know I am not a fan of Dumbo Baldheady. Matter of fact only manager worst than him has been Gardy. I loved TK with every ounce of my being. Pauly wasn't far behind. But sabermetrics is killing baseball and that is the only reason the Twins moved forward and pushed out a former Manager of the Year for the sabermetrics wunderkind that hasn't exactly worked out for us. So there is that.
But Twins have problems from their injury riddled lineup and their very ho hum rotation/bullpen. We have nice pieces but nothing I would ever suggest is championship anything worth. Is Walker Jenkins really going to save this team? Hardly. Is the signing of Ty France going to bring the Twins to the promise land. Hardly. Naw man this is going to be a .500 year if we are lucky. Can they go over that team total sure they can. Will they no idea. But I don't think they win the central unless the central is really that bad. Just my two cents. Either way gotta love baseball. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
Went to the stadium today to pick up my tickets for the As game. Talked to a couple front end office people to try to get the low down the plans for the As. Everyone knows they are playing in Sac town this year. No one knows how many "this years" we are talking about. It is a shame they couldn't stay in Oakland. Or least stay in Oakland until they had their stadium on the strip that they could just move into. From now on they are only known as the As or Athletics but not Oakland As/Athletics, Sacramento As/Athletics and until they move into their new stadium on the strip they are not yet known as the Las Vegas As/Athletics.

Moosey I am a huge Minnesota everything fan. But got completely gutted when the Saints and NFL cheated to try to take Brett Farve out of the game in the 2009 NFC Championship game (yes 1998 season was bad, 2000 not good, but for my money the way the NFL was so brazen during the 2009 NFC Championship game nothing was ever worst). Between the BS that was happening on the field and how incredibly stupid Coach Dad was that entire season but especially that game I just never cared the same again. It all fun and games. Never expect a Minnesota team (other than maybe the Linx) to win another thing ever again. Just the nature of the beast. BOL to you this season and all Minnesota teams.
First spring training post of the season. Given that there were a shit ton of runs late on Tuesday to push the total over I am hoping for the same today. Beautiful day in Zona. Should be ripe for a hitters paradise. Hope that is true anyway.

66 years old, born in Minnesota. Only lived in Minny 3 years but I've been a cursed Minnesota fan since 1967. Really got into football when the 1969 Vikings dominated the then NFL only to be humiliated by that pipsqueak Hank Stram in Super Bowl IV. i feel exactly the same as you. I know what the end result will be, they occasionally drag us back in only to rip our hearts out. I will always loath Sean Payton for that NFC championship game. Even if the Vikings had won, Favre probably wouldn't have been able to play in the Super Bowl, anyways.

I feel you more than you will ever know. My grandfather on my step-father's side was a diehard Vikings fan. Saw all the Purple People Eater days. He said just once in my life like the see the Vikings win the Superbowl. He died without the satisfaction. My step-father was nearly as much of a die hard Vikings fan and lived through the Jerry Burn's days and he said the same thing. He also died without the satisfaction. I just want to see the Vikings IN the Superbowl one day, let alone win it. But I don't think I will get that satisfaction. My son is 22 going to be 23 and who knows if he ever does. Don't get worked up like I used to. Now bet against them any chance I can. At least I get some satisfaction on these losers. Excuse my French haha.
