True. And it's about velocity more than pitching now. Which is different than evolution in other sports. Say accuracy from distance in basketball. Or speed, agility, size in football. The arm/elbow never adapts to that unnatural stress regardless of the increase in speed. But that is what is emphasized and instead of pitching and crafting the form it's about radar guns that get you paid. And you better get paid quick because it makes for a potential brief career. Look at Aroldis Chapman. Yes he is a freak of nature but he is pitching in style no longer just hurling. Big league hitters can pick up 105 mph at times. I'll take a pitcher over thrower any day.
