I've watched Leyland start guys like Rayburn and Don Kelly to bat second in our order all year long... Detroit has the worst #2 spot in all of baseball, yet the best 7th n 8th... This is because he doesn't know how to fill up a lineup card.

Peralta has batted 7th pretty much all year, and Avila 8th...  Two guys who have a shot at the All-Star game.

I can understand poor managing for sure. Wedge has lost the Mariners at least a few games this season, most recently was the debacle in Washington.

and lets not forget he has had Cabrera batting 4th behind B. Boesch all year... He just moved him up to 3rd a few games ago, but it didn't last...  What other team in the Majors does that?  Pujols, Braun, Bautista, Tex, Hamilton, Konerko  all bat 3rd for the respective teams...  We use Boesch..  Unbelievable..

It's their division to lose at this point. The White Sox may give them a struggle, but the Indians are fading fast as a young team.

I'm cheering for the Cubs and the Under. On my buy out from the Cubs, I'll still profit a little if they win VS a complete break even on a Rockies win from the buy out.

haha obviously..but you dont know its a correct bet until its over..when you see chacin and garza and the over under is 11.5..lines beggin you to go under..of course it can go under..but more times than less it will go over..

but i really liked the cubs today.chacin off 115 pitch game and rox on a getaway makes this game an auto play for me

There was a lot of press for the wind blowing out at Wrigley, but I read on Twitter that the wind wasn't much of a factor from a local Chicago reporter.

I think the high total at Wrigley can sometimes signal bettors take automatically take the Over. Not always, but sometimes.

could very well be..i dont play totals much..but when i saw that total..i hada show great self control to not take the over..under just looks tooo easy..

One of the people who sends me statistics in the morning gave me a doozie:

Since 2000, when Totals at Wrigley are set at 12 or higher, they have gove OVER at a 71% rate. 

Since 2000, when Totals at Wrigley are set at exactly 11 or 11.5, they have gone UNDER 67% of the time.

Really good information.
