World is full of hyperbole. Is Ohtani the modern day Babe Ruth? Yep. That makes him one of the greatest but surely not the greatest. Great players do not win shit in team sports. You have to be on great teams to be in a position to win. Ohtani was great on the Angels too. He is also being paid a billion dollars and prior to this one game he had been a strikeout machine in the batter's box. No one expected that to continue unless he was seriously injured. So essentially he is earning his overpaid salary lol. No mistake though he is an incredible talent. 

If he did this in a game 7 of the World Series, the debate will be over.
