lol pdouble. i take everything on covers with a grain of salt. even if it's real it doesn't effect my life if he wins or lose. regardless. great entertainment

I hoped you hedged from the beginning of the series. At the very least

I don't think he is gone, he might have bet something,..give him credit for seeing the value on 8/12...he probably bet a lot less,...there was a guy in here who took the Cards to win the Series on 8/31 in 2011,  10 games back for the wild card and he collected at 50 to 1 on 1000...and he hedged just in case...

Yeah, decently entertaining.  But as soon as the OP made very clear he was not hedging, I pretty much knew 100%+ it was all fake.  Nobody in their right mind would not hedge that.  The OP said it took him 11 years to build back up the wealth equity to even make the bet.  Again, nobody except for the criminally insane would not hedge and thus ensure themselves another 11+ years of hell to once again build back up the wealth equity if they lose.  It is idiotic and just insane to not hedge unless one is a billionaire (which OP says he is not).  So yeah, good fantasy thread, decent call for a Mets future bet, but totally fake.

I had $10 @ 20:1 for the Mets to win WS back in May.  I'm not a baller like some of you guys but even I hedged and managed to win $120, I took KC to win WS at +175 in Game 6 of the Toronto series.  

Either way, this was probably one of the more entertaining threads I've seen on Covers in years. LOL.
