PIRATES DOGS WHY?

Question

I&#x27;m still on the fence with the Pirates tonight, and as to why they&#x27;re condsidered the underdogs here? No they&#x27;re not as hot as they were several weeks past, but with the leagues best home record of 34-17 and Correia is 3-0 last 3 (As is Kennedy). All I can see is in the pitching last 10 AZ has a combined ERA of 2.99 while PIT is a hair over 5  at 5.02.&#xD;&#xA;Anyone?&#xD;&#xA;Insight greatly appreciated.............&#xD;&#xA;Thx &#xD;&#xA;-Whale

Corriea requested a trade.... dont know if that would have any effect on a line. This was also 1-2 weeks ago

Line is begging for Pitt money.  My guess is that Kennedy pitches a gem.  Tough game!!!.

Take it from a die hard Pirate fan who always defends them..... Do not bet the the Pirates.... Correia is really bad.... we are not hitting like we were in June/July.... struggling... we still win games because of good pitching...

Line up blows.... no Mckenry, no harrison, no barmas on D... could we win? yes but don't bet on it

If you glance at some statistics and compare the two teams ARZ is clearly the better team. Its a fair question though. I think you are getting tremendous value with PIT, but for some value isn't everything. Kennedy is overvalued in this spot. He's pitching above his career numbers and him and Correia are power rated almost equally. Sometimes you just got to pull the trigger on these weird lines. Also consider that the public is split between these two teams and the sharp money seems to be on ARZ.
