Maybe the greatest playoff performance ever, don't go against great players, I learned that many years ago.

Odds were good for Cus. I go against great players or teams at times when the odds are tempting. Ohtani wasn't going to keep striking out forever but one monster game does not erase the success pitchers had against Ohtani. It's a game of failure. Value is there does not mean you bet the farm on it. There are too many games and rounds to deem one game the greatest performance ever. Milwaukee was beat up and done (yes all teams deal with injuries) by this game. This wasn't a game 7 in Milwaukee. 

They didn't have enough of their horses to go up against a team whose ownership group has been trying to buy World Series since 2012 when Frank McCourt sold them to escape bankruptcy and become a "billionaire" himself. Happens often in a big market versus small market playoff matchup. Too bad Ohtani wasn't so great to lift a .500 Angels team to multiple World Series.
