I completed this model on Feb 12, so this is the first season that I've used this exact model.
I had thought that (+30) would be the Top of the scale, however as the season keeps going, the ratings get higher.
Dodgers (+29)
It is much like the betting lines, keeps going up.
Couple of things that make this model different from any I've seen.
1. It's going to get stronger as the season progresses or it should. There is no stopping late in season. It should run until the last day of the regular season.
I had a good buddy that is using it. He wanted to stop August 1 or reduce betting amounts. I talked him out of that. It's getting stronger, time to press bets, like I did last night.
2. This model requires no updating, modifying or working on. It updates itself daily. When I completed it, that was it. Unlike other people with models, I do zero work on this one. It has been absolutely amazing in hockey and baseball.

This model was created from 2 unique sets of Power Rankings that I've used for years. One was a season long rankings, the other was a very current rankings. On Feb 12, I found a way to combine the 2 sets of Power Rankings into one Power Number and the rest has been magic.
This is why I say, it's all about getting everything down to one, the Power Number.
The rankings I post for the Top Power Number is unlike any you have seen. It's not a (1-30) team ranking. It's a ranking for strength of the selected team on a given day.
The Dodgers have a (+29) ranking today but understand that is only for today's game against Miami. If the Dodgers were playing the Braves, their ranking would be completely different. Also tomorrow, I seriously doubt the Dodgers will have a (+29) rating. It will adjust up or down after today's games.
I've also found that I can't start playing each season until a team reaches a minimum of a (+15) ranking.

Perfect example is with CFB coming up next weekend and so many games! I always bet too many. Maybe you can give me some insight into a better plan! Not now next week. Just curious on yor thought goin forward- These fav. lines are getting pretty friggin high. A bit outrageous in my humble opinion. Doesn't seem like your going to be able to average -119 going forward since the books have probably overadjusted. Me thinks the best times might be behind us. Laying -150 on average we need to hit 60% to break even. We were't laying anywhere near these odds earlier in the season. Maybe -150 is a bit high but this juice can kill us. Appreciate all you do !
