I love fading pitchers who have just thrown a season high in pitches, Cain just threw 125 last start. 4 of 6 he's thrown at least 117 and at this point in the season pitchers wear down. He threw 124 five starts ago and next start lost, 121 three starts ago and next start lost and now coming off 125? 2-3 next start when throwing 119 or more previous start. Not the best spot for a team that looks like they are on the ropes. Hitting is contagious and Zona is flat raking, great value here and the line is comical. Zona +215 and -1.5
Wainright just coming off a season high 117 pitches last outing doesn't hurt our chances. Lannon has good numbers vs Cards and pitched well since coming back. Big road chalk for a guy to be laying who just lost as a -228 and -270 fav. Worth a shot especially since the Cards are so Jekyll and Hyde. Who knows what team will show up but at this price I have to bite. Nats ML
Nova has one pitch, a mid 90's fastball. His breaking stuff isn't very good and his last start the Jays had a chance to break it open a couple times and didn't. He got a little lucky like getting out of bases loaded no out jam but don't see it happening again. Yanks last game of trip are only 4-5. WSox -1.5
One team believes while the other is just playing it out w/controversy and disgruntled players everywhere. Rox find a way , just hope it's by more than 2 runs. Rox -1.5 +180
I'm fading Wood for the simple fact it's the first time he's a fav at this kind of price, first time at -200 or more. Cubs got good mojo right now. Cubs +202
I hate this game but it's such a sucker line. The odds aren't very high they cover the -1.5 so I'm taking ML because getting runs right now w/this team is like pulling teeth. Phils -113

Obviously there's a 1st time for everything, but just letting you know that since Adam Wainwright was introduced into the Cards starting rotation at the beginning of the 07' season (over 110 starts ago) St. Louis has yet to lose 3 consecutive games when he has taken the hill.
8/18/2010 vs. Milwaukee (Loss) 2 - 3
8/24/2010 @ Pittsburgh (Loss) 3 - 4
8/29/2010 @ Washington ????
GL with your card.

165 yds- I have capped them pretty much like you-the lines are out of whack today toward the faves. I think the O's +188 and 'Stros +160 carry value as well.

165, any thoughts on the Oriole's game today? Thought for sure I would see ya on the O's. BOL...
I checked to see how the Halos do after a SO loss and they rebound very well, especially at home. Add the fact they have their ace on the mound and think the O's get buried today.

lovin rox and phls too..thought you would definetly be on the braves reverse runline today...
When I saw that line I thought to myself they are trying to bait ATL money. How don't you take one of the best teams as a home dog and JJ hasn't pitched great either. Well I went to the forums and I still don't think I've seen one person on the Fish. ATL may win but they are a very very square pick. I am staying away but almost took Fish -1.5.
