already have some thoughts going in sundays thread..but it makes more sense to put them in here..

just pulling pieces of what me and raems were discussing..

(1) raems i actually lean mets..who wud lay that kind of chalk with pelf vs a pretty hot fish team and a hot vazquez..i think fish will be quite the popular dog tom..i like to fade starters off cg's too..but he only threw 108 pitches..mets also dropped their last two games to the stumbling nats..they cant come home content with that.

(2) lookin at cards..they do look good..greinke has been lights out..brew crew on a 6 game win streak..yet hes only -120? he was -130 last time he saw the cards and he was struggling..line is short..

(3) oakland just had a very successful homestand now go on the road to the mariners and cahill's -115? that line reakssss..oakland is a shitty road team..and im assuming that they will go back to the anemic offense they are instead of the offensive juggernaut they have been at home and frustrate their backers tomorrow with their lack of clutch hits..

5/29 vs fish he threw 116 pitches..next start vs cincy 6.2 6 er (Loss)

6/26 vs angels he threw 114 pitches..his next start vs angels 6 inning 6 er (Loss)

7/26 he threw 125 pitches vs Rox..his next start vs pads _____________

ill do it for him..laying chalk with shit road teams doesnt fair well..A's are 18-35 on the road..and cincy is 23-28

- cincy is 7-21 their last 28 games after a win..

- 3-9 in game one of a series their last 12..

- they are 5-8 their last 13 games on the road.

- bud norris has a 2.93 era at home

- arroyo has a 5.91 era on the road

- Beavan has pitched wll enough to win every game he has pitched

- oaklands hitting .231 on the road this year

mariners are shit too.but i see this being a very tight game..unless cahill has anothe blowup on the road..his control has been shakey from time to time..ill take last licks..
