It's been a solid start to the playoffs but really thought the Cubs/Padres game yesterday would go over the total. I made it a big play and dropped two units but got some back on the late play with the Dodgers. Today is going to be a really tough one because I wont' be online for most of the day but I do have one play still outstanding that will be decided over the next couple of hours. Clearly if it hits the reasoning was spot on; fade the Detroit pitching AFTER Skubal throws. I added units to it yesterday so if you also believe in that thinking, it's not too late to jump on the Guardians and meet me at the window .
With that said, here are the couple of plays I know I will be behind:
GUARDIANS TO WIN SERIES (+115)...BIG PLAY!!!
UNDER 7.5 (SD/CHC): I'm not going to risk double on this as I just can't seem to get the Cubs right of late. But one thing is for sure, in these closeout games both teams are much tighter. I tend to lean more towards the Padres but, like with Cease, you just never know what you will get when Darvish is on the hill. The Cubs bullpen is a bit spent so I did think of making this a FH play but I am not going to try and just grab units when I have had stronger feelings on teams not named the Cubs.
I will be back in a bit with a BIG PLAY on the Yankees game. All of these series are tough and almost all have seen a score in the first inning only to have muted scoring the rest of the game. At least that's one observation I have made. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

How true that is as I watch the Guardians bullpen self-implode.

@Thatguy1 Yeah and he (Darvish) is the reason they will be heading back out West barring some late inning heroics. Though I will admit their bullpen SERIOUSLY limited the damage and that's the only reason they still have a crying chance.
For the late game, I understand the Yankees are big home favorites and for good reason. Schittler has been quite good at home and especially post All Star break. Hence why he's in this situation. But Connely Early has been really solid since his call up as well and if he falters the Red Sox bullpen, who have been fantastic, will be called into action. But the Yankees bullpen is truly like playing Russian roulette and with a total this low it's hard to think they won't be called into action while the game is close.
I am going to play the UNDER again and I realize both games have gone under in the F5 but I just think you saw what happened in Cleveland when the bullpen melts down, and I'm not sure I want to have to stomach that again.
UNDER 4 (-120)...BIG PLAY!!!: I might risk more than 2 units on this I feel like both guys might be on short leashes so if there is any sign of trouble, the bullpen will be called upon and ready. Of course it will be nervy but hopefully in a good way for the play. I "think" the Yankees will win tonight but I'm not that confident to drop -150 or so. I am confident on yet another UNDER though.
Hoping to get this Cubs under as I just watched a HR get buried into the seats. Probably more confident than not but you can't be sure until the final out is recorded. Hoping everyone is having a profitable day.
