Jumped on this one with you jstaley. Thinking if there is one team that will pull the out of their slump, the Tribe would be it. They lose 6 in a row at Home b4 finally beating Royals, and score 10 runs total in those losses, and now go out West, splitting a couple of low scoring games against the lowly A's, and now come into Orange Cty on fire.
Do you think they're history, or do you see Value in taking them at +327 Live? Or, would you bet them to win the rest of the Match at -111 to Hedge the bets we have in on Angels ML?
Just a couple things I'm pondering

My first question is why would you make a 'Live' bet? (serious question). Do you utilize Live betting often, or is this a one time thing?

1st of all- Great Plays, Wins and Run today. Once again, you're Spot On
2nd, yes I do Play Live quite often. You seemed shocked that someone (or me in particular) would do so. I have actually won as much wagering Live as I have Capping (admittedly not very well) and Playing prior to the games. Unless the team I'm leaning score a few runs in the 1st Inning (thereby making the Line to high to Play), I usually can watch and get a read/ feel for what the Pitcher/ Team is going to do (to an extent). This has worked more so for over/ under Plays, but I have found it to be quite useful, and profitable.
From your reaction, I can tell you are totally against Live Betting, as I've got theory's on why, but please share with me your reasoning for not doing so. I know I'm making snap decisions without putting thought, or reasoning into it, but if I've Capped correctly, and have my Leans that turn into Plays giving me a great Line on a Play I was looking at anyway. Tonight, for example, I Played the Angels to win the rest of the Match when they were down 3-0 @ close to even, as I felt that even if they didn't come back and win, Richards was pitching great, and they were down because of 2 swings, and the Angels had just missed a couple opportunities themselves. Therefore, I'm Playing a 7 Inning (with Angels getting an extra at bat) for close to even on a game (7 Innings) I felt they would win. To me it was a no brainer, but as I've said before, I have come to greatly respect your skills and views, so I would very much respect what you have to say about this.
Thanks and G'Night

#1 I think this theory would be best served studying the
bullpens availability and effectiveness.
And you said “quite profitable”, yet above you said “(Admittedly not
very well). Take Richards last night who
gave up 3 in the first and then pitched into the 8th.
I have a buddy who used to run a sportsbook, and 2 things
they love are parlays and Live betting.
Anytime they can get a bettor to make spontaneous decisions, they profit
nicely. Let’s face it, the Sportsbook
elite are a lot smarter in this game than most of us, hands down, and not even
close. There are a few areas and spots
that they a helpless to protect themselves, and that is where we need to live,
I can promise you Live betting is not one of those areas. If you take the time to handicap a game
properly, you are patient, and make mathematically sound plays you will win
more than you lose in the long haul, immediate hedges with Live betting in
never going to be a good thing. The Man
has thought about this line longer, planned it better, and made absolutely sure
that He has the advantage.
Take care brother
