1. Cubs -1.5: Not ready to give Houston too much credit coming off their first win. Their lineup is still soft and Silva should be able to get plenty of ground ball outs. And after the cubs defeat to the Brewers, i think they come ready to play on Friday. In addition, Paulino has an ERA of 8.10 against the cubbies. 8-2 final.
2. Brewers/Nats over 8.5: Pretty simple, both clubs are putting up a ton of runs, and both starting pitchers have ERA's above 6.75. Lannan pitches even worse at home. This one flys over 11 or 12 runs.
3. Whitesox ML: Cleveland is struggling as a whole at the plate. And they'll be facing the guy who shut em down on opening day. Whitesox all day.
4. Toronto ML: going strictly based off momentum here. Toronto has a lot of new faces in the lineup, and they've been pounding out wins. The Angels look like a completely different team from a year ago. They look "old" and "slow". There doesnt seem to be any fight in this team anymore. Toronto wins at home.
5. Oakland ML: Braden's a stud, and the Orioles are a dud. Not to mention his stats against Baltimore: 4-1, 1.32 ERA vs. BAL
6. TWO DOG PLAYS: Tigers(+150) over Seattle, and San Fran(+125) over Dodgers. I love Felix, but his only problem is he's got a soft M's lineup behind him. They have no legitimate 3-hole or cleanup hitter, and struggle to get runs. Tigers lineup on the other hand is lethal at times. I think Tigers edge this one out 5-3 final.
San Fran looks all around impressive right now. They will have the advantage of "rest", considering the Dodgers just played 2 back to back extra inning games eclipsing 4 hours a piece. Plus Padilla looks terrble on the hill right now. Edge to the Giants. . . 6-2 final.
Love to hear anyone elses thoughts on these. . . . . .BOL!
