This is still a starter-first handicap, but the numbers give it more backbone. Wacha owns a 2.43 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and .244 OBP allowed at Kauffman, and the current Yankees roster is hitting just .142 with a .222 wOBA against him. Warren has held this Royals group to a .200 average and .247 wOBA, with only a 2.4% walk rate in the matchup. Add in two cold offenses - Yankees .220 and Royals .227 over the last 10 - and the F5 Under keeps us on the cleanest part of the board before the bullpens get involved.
