What a brutal series in Cleveland . . . three walkoffs and Felix gets his ass handed to him on Sunday afternoon . . . that being said, those other three games are a perfect of example of unpredictable things happening during a baseball game. Anyone claiming "great call" for backing the Indians on Monday is just as much of a fool as someone claiming the same thing about the Indians RL play on Friday night. Luck, and lack thereof, plays a huge role in tight games. And "luck" is almost impossible to predict.
Thus you can't let it control too much your thinking as you move forward, the Indians aren't as "great" as they looked this weekend, and the Mariners aren't as "horrible" as they looked. In general, I do believe that "better" teams will have more opportunities to take advantage of good luck than "bad" teams will though. And Bad teams will have more chances to be hurt by bad luck.
On to Tonight . . . How does one justify backing the Halos at -150? Other than thinking the Mariners will have a horrible hang over from their series in Cleveland? Is williams that much better than harang? Have the Angels played that much better than Seattle?

Neither starting pitcher looks that good tonight, i suppose one just simply plop down their money on whichever team as a plus sign in front of their price, as this game appears to be a toss up.
The Halos own 9 wins in their last 25 games, 4 vs CWS, and one each vs KC, HOU, BAL, OAK, and Seattle.
I can't really judge the Angels based on their last 2 games any more than I can judge the Mariners on their last 4 games. That being said, it is just tough to back a team that lost games of that nature in cleveland. The taste is sour, very sour.
Nonetheless, these prices are truly indactive of how I rate each teams chances tonight, thus I must play the 50 cent dog if I rate the Halos a slight favorite. Mariners haved moved to +149, up 9 cents from earlier, I'm going to give it some time and see if I can squeeze a bit more . . .seems like Halos are the feel good story, while the Mariners are the "boneheaded team", so perhaps the money will follow before the value buyers come in late.
