564 homers...but 2133 hits. Career .278 BA...but .405 career OBP.

IMO he juiced, but that's just me and irrelevant.

no defense without playing everyday other than a pitcher you can't make it in my hall of fame but i don't have a vote so who cares
 
 
but he is a great hitter....

I was watching the game tonight and the announcers were talking about it and I have to agree. He just doesn't scream "Hall of Famer" to me.
 
 
But with the PED and shit. If your not linked, I guess you get extra credit.

He is not linked but he had to juice.
I remember him early in Cleveland and he was skinny like Bonds and was not very good at all his first few season.
Some guys have to juice to stay at the MLB level and i think he is one of them.
I do enjoy watching him K or hit a homerun.

Doesnt scream hall of Fame, but how many teams would have wanted/needed a bat like his for the last 15+ years??? Hes will have 600ish homers, will have batted .280ish and is on base 4 times every 10 at bats.....that means he was driving in runs and was on base at least twice a game.....he has scored 4,186 runs.....

not to mention he has played on some real shitty teams... cleveland several of the years from 91-2002 , Philly for 3 years and the WS havent exactly been tearing it up since '05.....hard for him to have a lot of rbis when his team sucks....

what exactly is the argument that he SHOULDN'T get in?? what more do you want from this guy?

I say definitely YES.  maybe not first ballot, slam dunk but should get in.   just under 1600 RBI's.  Will end up top 30 all time RBI list and top 10 all time HR list.  Good guy, no Roids.  Always mentioned as a good team player.   No MVPs but 4 times was in the top 10.   5 time all Star.   I would think it would be a shame if he didn't get in.

he has to get in or the future kids growing up now won't believe that you can play without drugs to make them better. MLB ought to have a nonjuiced league and a juiced league just to see the differences in attendances then make decisions on who should be eligable for the Hall's recognition
