Guardians large

They have everything to play for no matter what happens in the Tigers game if the Tigers lose they can clinch the division if the Tigers win they have to keep pace as we know the Guardians hold the tie breaker.  Really think they will come out and crush Texas who gave up on their season a week ago.

Regression time? 

Last night the Rangers didn’t look like a team that had given up on their season. I think they’ll compete again tonight, too. Some teams care about playing the role of spoiler and some teams don’t care at all. The Tampa Bay Rays, for example, don’t care at all.

 Tampa Bay yes and you can add Baltimore too.  The Rangers did play well yesterday i just think the motivation is way more on the Guardians side plus they are the better team with everything  to play for we shall see.

Rangers rookie left fielder Cody Freeman did the Clevelanders a solid by electing to dive for a soft line drive he had no chance of catching.

Seriously, Cleveland? Noel, Rocchio, and Hedges all struck out!

A 2-out walk, a perfectly-placed bloop single, and an intentional walk set the stage for victory in the bottom of the 9th in Cleveland. Then the rattled relief pitcher (Robert Garcia) soiled himself and threw a crazy pitch that hit the batter in the shoulder despite the batter’s best effort to avoid it. The pitch was so errant that it hit him anyway.
