I like that butt cheeks post. It reaffirms to me why I am here. To me (jmo) if "how" my bank roll gets built is ever more important to me than "how" it got built I need to move on. Sure I love to make picks and be right, but that's not more important to me than money!! What is the point of a forum if you don't take from it!! Anyone who seriously says they would rather have a +50 unit cheque at the end of the season playing only "their" picks over a +100 payday getting help from others is crazy... Again JMO. Sign me up for the +100 option butt spread or no butt spread.... I am good with it!

I have been thinking. Maybe building our bank roll off other's picks (that they post) isn't the best way to go! I mean sure the money is awesome... Take today for instance, but just maybe we should stop speading our butt Che........Bahahahaha... No mine are spead wide open baby!!!! And I love it!!!

Gr8nader! Wow I guess I'm not that intuitive! lol. I have a system that is almost Identical to yours but I add one more thing that has given me incredible results. I just started it last week before all star break and had a combined record of 30-5, I had an 18 game win streak and a 9 game win streak. I use most common pick by about 5 or 6 amateur cappers also but also add variable such as public %, and specific line movement. This is an incredible strategy. Good luck to all of you guys!

I have never understood others being mad because you follow someone else or compile data and make the best decision based on available data. It's as if losing based on your own picks some how trump wins following others. A win is a win is a win. It may feel nobler in the heart to lose based on your own miscalculations than "win with the crowd" but, in the real world where it counts, wins pay bills-losing adds to them. Gr6nader; keep on keeping on. Haters; Find another thread turd lickers.

Johnny V Oh please do share. This site is so we can all benefit from the many ways to cap MLB. My system is hot and cold also. I let my daughter throw darts from about 30 feet away. LOL. I an not in the red, but would love to be more in the Black. All useful input is helpful...

I'm not sure who you had in the early games but this is how I use my system. Most all cappers were on philly and Jays if you look at these boards. Here is where I use public % and line movement to my advantage. Almost all the wins I had last week had these same trends. If the public and cappers are on the same side and within last 10 minutes the juice drops, the play is on the opposite side or a no play. This same line movement happened to the phillies the last 10 min. They opened at -126 and throughout the day were as high as -140. They dropped over 7 cents in most books the last 10 minutes. On the other game, Most cappers were on Toronto of what I saw and the public was on Tampa, juice was steady most of the day and in the last 10 min, the juice climed on tampa. Tampa was the play or no play.
Here are my variables.
-Cappers and public on same side - last 10 min line moves in their favor, then they are on the right play.
-Cappers and public on opposite sides -last 10 min line moves towards public, the play is the public side.
and vice versa

Thanks Vegas.....good post.
I just can't wrap my head around how what the line does in the last 10 minutes means anything towards the outcome of the actual game. I can see it influencing what % of the public is on what team - last minute betters and such but I just can't see how it effects the game it's self.
If it's a trend and it works I say use it. Heck if you told me that ATL lost all games that started in the morning after a day of rain when there were less 18 000 people in the stands - and it worked - I would follow you all day. But this just seems like an arbitrary stat.... I sure hope I am wrong though. Any edge is an edge worth using. I will keep my eye on this.

For two days I used that same subjectivity on all games on the board and the record was was about 10-7. Thats without any input from cappers picks. So the most important variable before I use the line movement and public % is what Gr8nader does, which is chose most common pick between some very good cappers.
