How soon should we start?
 
I think we should put something before the forum topic to know that we are part of this alleigance... ideas?

I can help with the sox .. i havent missed a red sox game in years. I know that team inside and out. I do bet on them, rarely against but could give good insight on when is a time to fade

Good idea.  I would join the party, but at my Covers is usually blocked.  The only way I would be able to contribute is to do it after work, but I'm not always available.  I hope this works out and I'm gonna keep an eye on this.  Hopefully this turns into something good for everyone.

I don't want to throw a monkey wrench into this thing; I think you're onto something..........
But a few questions/suggestions
 
You mentioned you follow pitching. Are you expecting this group to follow JUST the pitching or everything? Pitching, hitting, defense, team speed, etc. You need to set parameters on what gets tracked......
 
I'm assuming you want people to watch EVERY darn game. This is a big commitment, not for the faint of heart.
 
Are you expecting people to answer ML/RL questions "Hey, Padres at +135, is this a good bet?"
 
I'm just guessing, but I'll bet more than one person may volunteer for a team. I think it would be wise to have somebody follow the teams AAA club; you know there's gonna be a half dozen callups during the year. Why get caught short? These people could check in once a week (off day would make sense) and could be a backup for the "main" team tracker. Benny The Jet could help with the Mets, the Dback fan in Reno should get a recruit for the new park in Reno. I'm just sayin'.......
 
Also, you'll need to know how they'll be tracking their teams. Going to every home game? Does the team broadcast every road game? Do you have MLB tv package, etc.?
 
I'm not trying to gum up the works, but people need to know what is expected of them.

Angels fan here.  I live in the North East, but I am home for every game and I watch on MLB package. 
I follow them year around, and follow closely to their minor league and ST.
So if you need a Angels guy let me know
