The Daily Double is just my take on it.
It's just my Top MLB Power Number and my Top MLB Automated Total.
I've had forms of both models for some time, never the finished product. I completed the Top Power Number on Feb 12 but did not finish the Top Automated Total until the first of June.
I wanted to present both in a public forum to see if I truly have something. I've increased my wagers already but I stopped putting out dollar amounts. We all have different wager sizes. I'm writing in a unit format now.
Don't know if I've ever been more optimistic over anything.

I'm currently wagering these in a (1,2,4) unit format. This represents (1%, 2%, 4%) of my bankroll. At some point, especially if this is going to be my long-term answer, I'm going to revert to simply wagering (2.5%) of my bankroll on each. I'm very comfortable with that amount.
This thread is a "proof of concept" thread for me. The first 19 days have been better than expected. Let's see how things progress.

This is my masterpiece. I've got so much time and money riding on the success of the Daily Double. It's nice to get off to a good start.
I knew I had something with both of the models, I just did not have the missing pieces. On February 12, I was finally able to combine 2 sets of my Power Ratings into one Power Number. I was finally able to get everything down to one number and it's been magic ever since.
I've had my Totals formula for a couple years but I never focused on just The Top Number. It's an eight step equation that I've automated. Once I cut out the marginal plays and focused on just The Top Automated Total, things have gone really well. This came together on June 6.
The finished products have been a long process to achieve but they came together on February 12 and June 6. Anything else I've done in the past have been trials or steps to get to this one point.
I know it seems like I'm just posting plays but it's been a long winding road to get here.

Thanks guys, who knows. I don't really want to make projections.
I've got the 2 models, a solid bankroll and 4 books, so everything is in place. We are not even halfway into the season. My plan is to run this through October and go right back into the NHL season. I will mix a small amount of football and basketball in at some point.
It's an old cliche to say just take it day by day but really what more can I do.
I've streamlined everything I've got into the Daily Double and now it's just plug and play then wait for results.
I've said, I love baseball but I don't handicap, read previews or opinions or even watch the games. I check scores from time to time and wait for finals to update results, then it's on to the next day.
