Left handed groundball pitcher seems like a good fit for Wrigley.  He&#x27;s shown flashes but has never really put it together for a full season.  Maybe escaping Pitt will help.

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Yes, but will they have the defense to field ground balls....53% of hMaholm&#x27;s outs last year were on grounders. &#xD;&#xA;One of the arguments about the Cub going after Buerle is that they wouldn&#x27;t be able to handle all the ground balls he is able to induce.&#xD;&#xA;Castro and Barney need to step up and without Pena at 1B to wipe their behinds, we could be in for an even longer season with the infield.

Better a booted grounder than the long ball. Wrigley can be very inhospitable to fly ball throwing lefties, what with prevailing winds from the South in the spring, but if you can keep it in the park, you can do OK there. Windy days with high totals will warrant a look at the under if Maholm matches up with another GB pitcher. FFT.
