After 16 years at the same job , out of nowhere was told today that my role had become redundant and the company wasn’t getting a healthy enough ROI on my employment , which sucks but was fair from a business stand point and unfortunately other areas of the company don’t really suit my expertise . I was a one man band majority of that time . The role is now void . Officially a house husband  for now . Strange feeling . guess I’ll actually be able to watch some games now with nothing but gardening and house chores to do . Let’s win some cash together over the next few weeks

Yeah thanks mate , company was very generous and professional in terms of departing payments etc knowing I have a young family  , no ill will towards them , just can’t remember having this much free time though now

Brother , keep ur head up and something better will come your way. Hope u got a great severance package or else take their asses to court. Other than that , fuck these people, you will find something better.

 Sir, first things first. I'm sorry . Same thing happened to me (after 30 years on the job) turn of the new year 2024. Found myself unemployed and doing laundry and dishes etc.... at home. Keep your head up ! Their are plenty of job opportunities out there and believe it or not the pay is DAMN GOOD! Don't waste any time get right back in the groove and get working. Wishing you nothing but GREAT luck and oh yeah let's win some MLB games along the way!

Has happened to me too right over March madness. Hire a professional resume writer. Talk to high level job recruiters. There will be a shit ton of offers your way.

After losing a good job at the start of the pandemic, I created a great business opportunity for about 2 years...then my foot problem occurred and reoccured with me almost losing my life.

Now over the past 6-9 months, my clients have become challenging and in some cases problematic.

But another door opens so remain optimistic....

In the meantime, let's find some winners
