Food for thought, I won't spew my opinions, but here are some facts.

Eric Fedde since June(35.2 innings) 2.27 era, 3.46 fip.

Vs the Rangers current lineup(64 plate appearances):

.145 BA, .203 wOBA, launch angle 3.6

DeGrom since June(41 innings) 3.07 era, 2.25 fip

Vs the Sox current lineup(31 plate appearances):

.286 BA, .380 wOBA, launch angle 21.2

The Rangers vs ground ballers: .266/.737

The Sox vs fly ballers: .249/.754

The Sox are +145, are they live? I'll let you guys decide.

Fedde has definitely been pitching well lately, but the sample size on how Texas has hit him is still pretty small. The deGrom information was the more important part for me

Fedde had double the plate appearances vs the Rangers, as opposed Degrom vs the Sox.

Do you remember the website Daily Baseball Data? That site was the shit. It stopped operating maybe 3 or 4 years ago.

"Allegedly" the dude who ran that got paid off to stop posting. I really don't know. But the way his system broke down #'s vs said pitcher, down to the final 9 batters when lineups were released was great.

It was a great tool for us vs the books.

I believe Dbacks win tonight also. Springs has been terrible and the bullpen is just as bad. Dbacks are 29-21 at home and have won 6 of their last 7. In those six wins they scored 39 runs (averaging over 6 per game). Dbacks will crush Springs.

Springs is also left handed and Dbacks are 4th in hitting vs lefties (OPS) and 1st in average.

Bratt hasn't been great for Dbacks as an opener. He will not go long. Maybe the over is even better...A's are 9th in OPS vs lefties.

 I have a feeling you go with either nationals or arizona those games are later than the phillies it will give you more time to hone in and cap  and leave no stone unturned. Plus it's much better to go against either the A's or rockies than the dodgers but i'd still unload if you went with philly.

PHI LINEUP

Philadelphia’s lineup looks good for the matchup, definitely a positive for the first five.

They have six left-handed bats against the right-handed Emmet Sheehan… Schwarber, Harper, Marsh, Stott, Rincones and Crawford. Sheehan has allowed lefties a .791 OPS and .486 slugging percentage, compared with a .722 OPS against righties. 

The biggest reason I like the construction is Sheehan’s four-seam fastball. He throws it about 43% of the time, and hitters have slugged .631 with a .404 wOBA against it. Schwarber and Harper are exactly the type of left-handed power bats who can punish a fastball mistake

WASH LINEUP

Washington stacked the lineup against a left-hander.

They have five right-handed bats from spots 2 through 7

James Wood and CJ Abrams are still dangerous even left-on-left, so Washington did not have to weaken the top of the order just to chase the matchup

Arizona is still pre-lineup, but I’ve got them on the short card. The A’s are in freefall, Springs can be attacked, and Arizona’s bats have been awake. The only pause is Mitch Bratt, so I need both lineups before narrowing this one down
