Max Fried facing Walker Buehler in San Diego. Fried has been outstanding this season, posting a 2.80 ERA and 1.00 WHIP while allowing only three runs over his last 20.1 innings.
Fried’s road numbers are even more impressive, with a 2.56 ERA and opponents’ batting just .198 across 52.2 innings. Fried also has an excellent history against San Diego, going 3-1 with a 2.11 ERA.
