Couple thoughts

LA Dodgers @ Philadelphia

Chi. White Sox @ Texas

Washington @ Colorado

This is just an early look at the matchups. I have a few games circled, but nothing has made the short card yet. I’m working through the process now.

I’ve circled Minnesota first five. I think we may be able to get to Bibee, and Cleveland’s bats have gone a little flat. The only pause is Minnesota isn’t exactly ripping the cover off the ball either

I’ve circled the Phillies first five and full game moneyline. Sanchez gives Philadelphia the pitching edge, and the Dodgers are coming off a doubleheader before traveling to Philly. Nothing on the short card yet, but this one has my attention…

Sanchez has had a couple of rough outings, but they came on the road. He has a 0.85 ERA at home compared to 2.73 on the road, hitting just .196 against him in Philadelphia.

 The game that surprises me that you mentioned is the white sux/texas. Are you thinking there is value with the white sux or do you like texas because of Degrom? A matchup of 2 first place teams who would have thought that at this point in the season?

I’ve circled Texas first five. deGrom gives them the clear pitching edge, and Fedde has been much more vulnerable on the road. Texas hasn’t been great offensively, but I have it circled

I’ve circled Washington first five and full-game moneyline. They were very good to me yesterday, and now they get Kyle Freeland at Coors, a lefty matchup

It doesn’t take me long to circle games. They’re just early thoughts that give me a working base. From there I break everything down, add or remove games to the short card, and then from the short card... decide what I’m actually comfortable moving money on. That final step is what takes the time.

Coors Field is always tricky, and Colorado has been decent against lefties. Still, I’ve added Washington first five, full-game moneyline and run line to the short card. The Nationals crush left-handed pitching, and Freeland is a matchup I’m willing take a closer look at 

we’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there!
