Guardians despite the lowest hits in the league have a winning 45-36 home an 43-38 road record and are 1st in the division despite such anemic offence. Teams that can win on the road are usually good teams.
Tigers also went 45-36 at home and were 41-40 on the road. Only slightly worse than the Guards. A slim margin but I think they will end up an even .500 after today. They only won the last game by the slimmest of margins also and could have completely blown the lead they were lucky to only give up 1 run as there were more guys on base in that inning.
The pitcher for Detroit has zero playoff experience while Bibbee played in 4 games. He doesn't have Skubal's experience which got him out of that jam yesterday and is unlikely to go as deep as Tarik did either.
