Sticking with Arrieta and going with my ,the teams never lose for these guys parlay and hooking him with Strassburg and the Nats,
Been wanting to comment on something. For the people that don't think the past matters because the players have changed have not been betting baseball very long. Think of Mussina against the Twins and Oswalt against the Reds and I can go on and on.

Morning Boys-
I will keep this short and sweet today (not sure if that is possible lol) but apologies for the Seattle MELTDOWN last night. Up 5-1 and 6-3 and Cano hits a double that gets tuck under the wall and our dumbass does not score from first. Also, a total pop fly falls perfectly between 3 people in the 9th. Really Really tough loss for us last night.
Today, $$$$ Cubs on Run Line (-1.5) -140 I agree with all of the above writers and I may even play the -2.5 I saw someone post a few back. Locke is awful...he is ALMOST on my Fade List but hasn't had the pleasure yet. Lets hope Cubs keep rolling, looks like a great play today

San Diego (I do not know much about the pitcher here) but we will fade Peralta...he has actually thrown OK (and he still loses) wait untill he starts slumping badly...lol
Arizona: This is almost an automatic over here, but I will stick with Arizona. Peavy is going to have to beat me a couple times before I get off that Cash Cow.

On the other side, Butler for the Rockies is off to a good start on the season for a Rockies pitcher (3.86 ERA), but both starts were away from home. At Coors, he's got an ERA of 6.80 in 41 career innings, and he was pummeled in his only previous start against the Mets, giving up 6 runs in 4 innings in New York last year.
I think the Mets come out motivated, and I like Verrett. He seems to be doing what Kris Medlen did years ago for my Braves. They give him a spot start here and there filling in for someone that's injured or needs a little rest, and he uses the opportunity to build more and more trust with his teammates and coaches until they have no choice but to give him a spot in the rotation. Hopefully he proves his worth once again tonight. Best of luck to all.

Adding Cleveland at -1, -147. I hate laying that kind of juice on a pitcher like Kluber that is constantly overvalued, but MN is obviously cold as ice right now, finding out all kinds of ways to lose, especially on the road and have a brutal schedule. How can the scheduling gods only have them at home for one series and send them on the road again?
Have to fade them right now, but I agree with comments I think Pimp made a week or so ago. This team is not as bad as they are playing and will offer some really good value when they get it together.

Whats up everyone,
its SWEET SATURDAY which means I have a strong feelings about todays game & will be betting heavy.
My $$$$ pick is on the Kansas City Royals.
Why ? Yesterdays game was great for them. Off the bat they began with an 1-0 lead plus had some "decent" pitching by Volquez. We have to remember that the Royals are going against a pretty bad Braves team that I am certain won't make any effort in coming back to try & make playoffs. The team is unfortunately AWFUL & you guys know it. Royals are a solid team with an "okay" SLG % of .381 while Braves are .297 
Pitching seems to be "okay" within both teams today, but batting will make up for it on the Royals side. Plus its a nice day in Kansas City so I'm confident they got this on a nice Saturday. Since the game is at -220 ill be placing 2 bets but for you guys just play 1st 5 royals at -145

Great start to the day (sans Newmi's 1/2 goal loss) but hoped he tailed us on the Cubs...might have been the easiest play of the year other than Jake's other 16-2 win. Never felt threatened.
Let's keep it up tonight.
BTW, a friend from Dallas REALLY loves Texas tonight...I could make the case for them but i am tired of losing to the Blue Jays...so since I am NOT playing them, I am sure Texas is FREE Cash tonight.

This would qualify as another $$$$ if I hadn't used mine up already today.
Last night Verlander goes 8, gives up one run and loses.Tonight's matchup between the Tigers and the O's is very much like the one they played Thursday. Lots of runs, but an Orioles BP that is so much better than the Tigers. Neither pitcher will probably make it through the 6th, if they even get there. But I have faith in the Tigers BP to make the O's a winner tonight. I'm also taking Baltimore on the RL (but that's just a pick). I pray you all had some success this afternoon and that it carries over to tonight.

Heading to the Trop today where we see the over/under climb to 8 with Gravman taking the hill for the A's. He has been horrendous over his last three starts but he has faced the Rays twice in his career where his numbers are the exact opposite of what he has shown this year (.75 WHIP). He has only pitched in the Trop once prior but went 6 innings without giving up a run (6Ks 2 BBs). For the Rays we get Andriese who the jury is still out on. His win against the Angels was nice but we all know how the Angels bats can be. Bottom line we get two teams that struggle to score runs, both rank in the bottom ten in the league and I don't see Valencia going yard twice again today.

Game 1 of today's doubleheader between the Marlins and Nats taught me that Game 2 will go over 4 in the first 5. You have a Marlins pitcher making his second career start. Last year he gave up 5 runs in 5 innings to Philadelphia in his only start. Add in a Nationals pitcher who's very familiar with Marlin hitters, as they tagged him for 5 runs in the first five innings and 4 runs in four innings in the two games he faced them last month. So why is it only 4? I don't know, but I'll take my chance with it.

SF Giants FUN STAT
I have been thinking this was a good bet for a couple weeks, but I did not know how good:
Since Opening Day
SF is 18-7 when Bum Smarjd or Cueto Starts
SF is 3-11 when Peavy or Cain start (my 2 FADE pitchers)
However, since April 25th,,,,,
SF is 11-1 with BCS starting
SF is 0-8 with PC starting
Unreal numbers...Peavy gets a crack at it tonight!!! Fade away boys!!

UFC tonight boys! Took a little hit on the Hammarby game but made it back with that fantastic IIHF 6-game parlay (thanks clutch101) and the Red Sox game!
I don't see anyone discussing UFC 198 in here but I've been reviewing this card for a while now. Very chalky looking card, small parlays might be the best bet.

Forgot to add analysis:
Werdum is on a 6-fight winning streak since coming back to the UFC. His stand-up game has improved tremendously thanks to Rafael Cordeiro and Kings MMA. He is the greatest BJJ practitioner in the history of the Heavyweight division, so NOBODY wants to go to the ground with him. Miocic's only chance is to keep it standing and outbox Fabricio, but Fab has a granite chin and fantastic kicks to keep Miocic at distance. Fabricio also has solid power, recently destroying Cain Velasquez on the feet and knocking out granite-chinned Mark Hunt with a Thai plum knee. Miocic's punching power is also questionable, not sure that he can rock Werdum, as Werdum's only knockout loss was back in 2008 to Junior Dos Santos when Werdum's stand-up game was essentially non-existent.

Blues were second in the division this season with 107 points. Big stat here guys is St. Louis was second overall in Penalty Kill this season. Sharks have a great PP and are just above 30% for playoffs but now face arguably the best Defensive core in the NHL.
Sharks knock off Kings and Nashville, not great teams coming into the playoffs from a momentum or year end push perspective. Blues knock off Conference powerhouse Dallas (top offensive goals per game squad) which says a lot.
Sharks coming from out West after a 7 game series all the way to St. Louis and we have on paper and really by all critics the better team and a home game to boot and we have -125. Sign me up.
