That’s important. If a guy has a 2.68 ERA but his expected contact is ugly, Id say fade/regression. Messick is not that..

I’m not involved, but 

I would not blindly fade Messick. His strikeout rate, walk rate, and Statcast contact profile support him being legitimately good

But WTF knows 

Lance Barksdale behind the dish, home teams are 11-3 this year.

Contreras, Mitchell and Frelick sitting.  Vaughn starting at 1st, batting 18-35 (.514) vs. lefties; Chourio 6 dingers in last 7 games for the bats. Crew hits 20 points higher against righties. Messick (lefty) has only made it to the 6th inning in 1 of last 10 games, Guards heavy on righties out of the pen, so could see some late pinch hitting.

Roof open at wind blowing out at 10mph, but not a huge factor in there. Day games tend to be lower scoring, double that on getaway days.

Guards don't hit against anyone, especially with main sticks out.

Magic 8 ball says MKE 4-2, with a small lean to the U7.5.
