Braves are 0-8 on Mondays this season...

I came across this stand out stat today regarding Braves playing on Mondays. They have been outscored 50-14 on Mondays along with an 0-8 record. 4 losses on the road and 4 at home.

Some of their losses include Astros (3-8), Cubs(1-5), and Pirates(3-9)

The last four Monday games the Braves have played they have scored at total of 5 runs with three of those games being 1 run.

Past can mean a whole lot or absolutely nothing in Baseball, but tonight I find out if I truly have bad luck right now.

I'm on a 5 game losing streak and I'm looking to bounce back.

Yankees (-111) at press time. I will wait a bit to see if the line adjusts at all.

The problem with those losses were that they were playing pretty shitty, theyve been playing alot better lately and are also hot

With only 8 data points, probably means nothing.  But good luck.

Braves are 3-14 in their last 17 Monday games.

288-257 (+31) overall run differential on the season

274-207 (+67) excluding 8 Monday games

Still not enough data points.  Unless you can determine a solid reason for their current struggles on Mondays, you are likely just chasing random variation.  Without that, they are just as likely to regress back to the mean as they are to continue their losing ways on Mondays.

not usually, but maybe in this case your BRAVES think otherwise. Anything to gain an advantage in the world of sports betting is fine with me (as long as its legal).

You could take in team in the league and you'd soon realize that each has a day of the week whose record stands out from the other 6 days of the week (one way or the other).  It's a matter of small sample size and random variation.

Both teams are hot. Best option is to go with your gut. Then you wont regret anything

go with ATL +2.5 parlayed with Angels +2.5 and OKC ML. You'll win trust me.

Those numbers tell me that they will win on a Monday very soon and it might be today.

On the Yankees even before I read this but it seems like ATL has a bad case of the Mondays, I like the trend hopefully it continues.

How can you guys ignore this stat, or say it is not enough data??

It has happened EVERY occurance this season.  How is that not enough times???

Geesh...what an easy bet....

I mean once, twice, three times ok maybe not enough....

That obviously means Atl gets tired at the end of the week and starts EVERY week slow

To me its' like the roulette wheel and red comes out 8 times in a row.  This trend means nothing.  Braves are down 3-0 right now but when I saw this thread I liked ATL even more.  I took them for far different reasons but this stat doesn't hold much weight.

Explain?? 

The roulette comparrison makes no sense what so ever.

Coming out flat on Monday 8 times is a trend. 

One guy said they scores 5 runs the last 5 Mondays.

They wont score 1 run tonight.

Something obviously makes them struggle on Monday.

I dont understand how people could ignore this
