Any Tips for beginner baseball bettors?

Any have any good tips for a nooby baseball capper? baseball frightens me because the season is so damn long anyone have some secrets or tips for a nooby like myself?

What do you mean by follow the aces? The best teams? I mean my plan so far is to bet the favored teams in the series and wait to hit 2/3 in the series cause I hear from my friends who watch baseball that sweeps rarely happen

Take Dogs in general.  If you take chalk a lot, it's very tough to win. I know some years, you could just take every Underdog the entire season and make money.  This is rare, but I've seen people who keep stats prove this during the past.

Find teams which are hot as dogs and take them.  Example would be TBay right now vs. Yankees or KC vs. Angels.  I also think find teams which are playing awful and fade them.  Take your time betting as well.  Baseball is a game of streaks for bettors and players.  Look for #1 starters vs. #4 or #5 starters as the season progresses.  Especially back a decent #1 starter is for an average team and getting good odds vs a horrid #4 or #5 for a decent team. I would also watch out for teams with horrid bullpens like the Cubs so far this year.  They'll rip your heart out in the late innings.

no juice over -130. stick with low favs and dogs
late night lefty/lefty unders
dont fall in love with overs
1-2 games a night
dont chase (as with all sports)

Not sure I would say follow aces, especially early as some of them will not have the year expected and will be laying huge odds.  I do know Verlander had a monster streak last year where the Tigers won about 12 consecutive starts by him (don't recall exact numbers, but he as 24-5 overall).

oh.....and make sure to keep track of bullpens. It's one of the top things i look at. bet on the best bullpens and a decent offense and you got a great shot at making some $$$

baseball is easy, the marketplace provides a lot of value, there is no value in betting on large public favourites. today alone all the market trends led to a 5-1 day

Bet the under...youll actually dislike the occasional home run (I mean c'mon who doesn't enjoy a monster shot into the upper deck, plus chicks dig the long ball) but youll be seeing alot ground outs strikeouts etc more often then not...think about it the best hitters get hits about 30% of the time therefore your other 70% is filled with the aforementioned popouts etc...its just alot less frustrating losing on an under compared to an over atleast imo

Patience is a virtue. Pick your spots. Try and learn as you can on the teams/pitchers/bullpens.

Guys like Halladay, verlander, etc...win 18 plus games a year and lose under 10 a year...clearly you don't follow these guys blindly...but if you dont have a bad feeling about the match up..load up on these guys...yeah there's some question marks at the start of the year....but the juice will only go up on these guys as the year progresses

order dierctv mlb.  watch games for a week or two.  know your teams players and their bullpen.  study study study.  Find out how certain players hit against righties and lefties. also how teams play  back to back road games in different city. etc. dogs will always be a great bet with a great bullpen

Baseball is the best sport to bet on - if you are willing to put the time in - pitching sets the tone - it's the key variable in determining whether you win or lose.  Suggest you go to the stratgey section and read up on mlb systems.  Read my 4 part system as well MLB A system to consider - it's a step by step and may help you.

If you really wanna double your money - fold it up and stick it in your pocket:)  Good luck.
