I think the Phillies will be tough packers. I don't think anyone from the NL Central will be a threat. Diamondbacks and Giants could be a tight race. Braves will choke like normal as of late. I think the Phillies will be eager to get back to the World Series. The bullpen is scary though...which if the Giants get in the playoffs...they could head back.
I know life isn't fair but this year Vernon Wells 2012 salary will be more than Pujols and wilson's COMBINED!!!!!

I actually think edge the dodgers will be in 2nd in the west with the giants in 3rd. I like the dodgers getting Harang and Capuano to go with Lilly,Billingsley and Kershaw. Plus the Dodgers have to have a new owner by may 1st so if they're in a race they have the funds to go get a piece or 2 at the deadline. The giants are banking on melky and Pagan being big power factors i'm not seeing it as far as HR's. I think Melky will hit a crapload of balls in the gap i have the giants winning 82 games. as far as the Phillies the Howard injury concerns me. I have them losing to arizona in the nlcs. That could change. Again these are my opinions
I doubt that they will but what if the Rangers get Fielder? Does he make a difference in your mind? I like the Rangers bullpen better. Plus, they have been to the world series the past two years without a ring to show for it. They will be eager again...especially after being one strike away on two different occasions, I believe.

I actually edge don't have the Rangers in the playoffs but Prince would change my opinion i have the angels winning 100 games. Texas to me the ? are Darvish and Feliz in the rotation as well as Nathan yes it is his 2nd season since tommy john surgery but he'll be pitching in that heat. But as of Right now I have

Thome was a nice addition. I could see the Diamonbacks maybe in a five game series but not seven if they match up in the NLCS. I can't really say anything about the Dodgers until I know who the owner is. So, question mark on them...but the Kuroda lost hurt them in my opinion.
The rangers could win the wildcard if they did i wouldn't lose sleep. But in my projected win totals i have
Rays winning 91 games
Rangers winning 90 games
Red Sox winning 88 games
Now if the Rangers get Prince Fielder that will change. Him in that ballpark WOW. I like the Rays starting pitching more than Texas or Boston. Think of this edge either shields,Hellickson,Moore or price is your #4 starter. WOW
I understand what you're saying packers. But, Thome isn't going to be playing first base the whole season. The Phillies starting pitching is solid to where they will still win the division. All they have to do is try their best to be healthy come playoff time and I think they will win the NL Pennant in my opinion. The Phillies should be able to score enough runs to win their fair share of games when Howard is out.
I agree with your statement packers about the Rays starting pitching. But, can they still get the timely hitting when they need it? I like the Red Sox hitting and Rangers as well more than the Rays. The Rangers starting pitching isn't terrible. Hell, they could have a six man rotation if they wanted to. The Rangers lineup can hit, steal, hit for average, and power. Kinsler, Andrus, Hamilton, Beltre, Cruz...it is loaded up and down. Plus, in the AL East every team the Rays face in the division can hit. Will the pitch count become a factor as the season goes deeper? The Rangers and Angels have an advantage in my opinion because of Oakland and Seattle. April cant get here soon enough.
How i look at teams edge and there is no 1 way to look at a team is starting pitching the hitting of Tb concerns me. I hate to be mr.obvious covers poster but it'll be hard to beat the Rays if they don't score. The Red sox and rangers have MUCH better hitting i'm a pitching guy for the most part. I'm banking on bouncebacks offensively for Longoria and Scott. Longoria has to get that avg up. If Tb pooped the bed this year it wouldn't shock me. I have ?'s about boston and texas's starters
I'm not either....but according to that 175 IP and 208K that is well over 1K per inning...nice to know. It will be interesting to see where Francona goes. If he doesn't end up with the Nationals in 2013 and he does manage...where do you like him? Also, with Lamont almost getting the Red Sox job...do you think this will be his last year as the Tigers third base coach?
