i know the deal with dice but how doesnt he give up five run innings more often as a bosox backer gonna be like this every inning he cant make a pitch until two men are on

Shields is in his groove. Very important after shaky first. Now lets get a few walks and hits on the DICE in the 2nd and build a lead.

Shields threw 25 pitches in the 1st, 10 in the 2nd , and 7 in the 3rd.  Matsuzaka threw 27 in the 1st and 16 more in the 2nd.

In case you missed it, Boston also had 2 RISP in the 1st w/2 out, and they too blew it. Why isnt that going to come back & haunt them? why just the Rays?

Because he feels that many promising rallies still await the powerful Red Sox of Boston while opportunities will (obviously) be few and far between for the expansion Devil Rays.  It's like he's handicapping from yesteryear.

16 more pitches for Matsuzaka.  He's thrown 59 pitches through 3 innings and allowed no runs.  In other words, he's just being himself.

Very simple the guy is a complete ahole and is just trying to bait me into an argument. So he will continue to post CRAP in this thread cause I started it and he knows I am a huge Rays fan. I wish this forum had an ignore feature.

1st inning: 25 pitches
