All the stupid talk about mold, AC, the sniffles.....too funny. People actually believed that Strasburg wouldnt dominate today after asking for the ball in game 4. The guy has been unhittable yet he's the point of emphasis rather than the guy that didnt pitch in 2 weeks who has a bad hamstring. All the talk about Dusty yet the most overrated manager in baseball, Maddon decides to start an at bat with a struggling reliever all but to take him out on a 1-0 count. Way to put your closer in an even tougher position having no room for error with no bases empty. Game 5 here we come!

I've been saying expect the unexpected....Kluber simply overrated in my book going forward. The guy is a choke. Plain and simple. He doesn't show up in big games at home yet CC pitched great. The Indians had a great year but as I stated about a month ago, too many people hopped on this bandwagon during their streak. Even though I had them to win this series. I had them losing to the Astros. Like the warriors a few years ago, the Indians ran out of gas. They choked too. Oh well. I have had the Astros since the beginning of the playoffs and I love their chances against the Yankees.

Thoughts on tonight's game? Until the Nats prove to me that they can win a series like this I have to go against them.....it is SOOOO like them to win the survival game on the road only to come back hope in deciding game and s h I t the bed....has happened so many times , so they have to win a series like this before I can ride them . Hendricks was lights put earlier in the series, I'm going to ride him again....think the Cubs take the series....TNF is much harder decision for me. I want to take the points with the Eagles but Carolina was impressive last time out against Detroit so not sure about that game as of yet.

(I think they get over the hump tonite. Their past hasn't been pretty but I think they come ready to play tonite in front of their home crowd- going with the gut here!)

Nats simply beat themselves. 14 runners left on base, 3 runs scored on them due to errors....still only lost by a run which is nuts. Maddon once again gets away with mismanaging his pen. As for next round, the Cubs will struggle mightily against the Dodgers in the next round; they will simply run out of the gifts they've been getting for two postseasons now. Can't wait to see them lose. We get the next win tonite.
66-46 overall and 12-4 in the playoffs.

I was with you on the Nationals also bud and some how some way the cubs managed to stumble and bumble their way to another round. The Chicago cubs are so world over rated it's unbelievable and myself as well can't wait until the Dodgers destroy them and their Houdini like narrow escapes which will finally come to an end from a team that gets that second chance once again with these flubs but this time around the taste from last years loss becomes the motivating factor for the dodgers that prevails and brings them to the world series.

I didn't mind the Cubs last year but this year, I don't like the way they carry themselves. They remind me of a bunch of brats, entitled brats. When Rizzo opened his mouth with the respect me sh@t it really turned me off. I like contreras as a player but hate his attitude. Then you have Maddon. He is the most overrated manager in baseball and he gets away with a lot of bad moves. You could argue that he single handedky could have lost his team game 7 last year with keeping Chapman in and last nite, even though it worked, he hung Davis out to dry bad with telling him to go get 7 outs with nobody working in the pen. Unreal how the Nats bailed him out again. I look at this next series and I think silently this is what the dodgers wanted all along. Best team all year, got bounced by the Cubs up 2-1 in the series last year; they get to redeem that loss and go through the champs. Kershaw will be ready as will Roberts with the deepest lineup on baseball. I think the cubs get lit yo in this series. Their run will come to an end; looking forward to it too.
