Carlos Condit -115
- finished 28 of 30 opponents
- good cardio, Maia has gassed in previous fights
- better striking with good jiu jitsu IQ
- many will argue that Condit has weak takedown defense. However I see it as Condit intentionally does not put much effort into defending takedowns as he is confident in his ground game, and is good offensively on his back.
Anthony Pettis -175
- has the edge in striking
- only lost to top guys in the division
- durable, never been finished
- Pettis gets himself back into the win column with superior striking
Joe Lauzon -140
- tight matchup
- Lauzon has become the more improved and dangerous fighter while Miller has declined
Lean:
Thibault Gouti over Chad Laprise.
Laprise missed weight at 159lbs with the towel which raises some questions.
Good luck to all
