Calvin Kattar vs. Dan Ige
Both fighters are coming off a win in the last two months. Ige is on a six fight win streak, and although his last win was controversial, he has proven to be a well rounded fighter. Signed after appearing on DW's Contender Series, Ige is 6-1 in the UFC, having lost his debut against Julio Arce. Training out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, he has solid wrestling and has trained with Khabib and other fighters under Dominance MMA management.
Kattar is now 5-2 in the UFC. He has arguably the best pure boxing in the UFC, and possibly the best jab and one-two combo. He has struggled with leg kicks before, and Ige should have low kicks and wrestling in his game plan, as Kattar should have the advantage striking on the feet. Calvin also has good takedown defense, stopping 77% of takedowns.
Kattar's high level striking should give Ige a lot of trouble, possibly finding a late finish or earning a decision win. And although Ige may have his moments with leg kicks and grappling, these are two durable fighters with only one loss by stoppage between them, so there's value in the over 4.5 rounds at (+122). Also, Kattar wins by 5 round decision at (+235) has value, and if you want to hedge or like Ige his most likely path to victory is another close decision so Ige wins by 5 round decision at (+550) is better than his moneyline.
