It's going to be about 100 degrees in Hidalgo and its' elevation is about the same. Don't let the Texas fool you. Hidalgo is Mexico. As such here's my "No soy un perro" underdog picks. I'll likely Round Robin these somehow.
Gabriel Benitez +140 Sicilia has been losings lots lately
Augusto Montano +325 He's tough guy, Belal Muhammed just got beat by Jouban who isn't anything great yet. Muhammed's wins are 3kos and 6 dec. Montano 10kos 5 subs, 0 dec... he's lost only by decisions; to Alvey who's getting some legit fights lately and Cathal Pendred. Cathal Pendred to me is one of the worst guys in recent UFC history, but hecould dominate in parts of MMA against guys who had certain weaknesses that Montano had at the time and hopefully has cleaned up.
Joey Gomez -160 is the pick here, even tho he's no dog like the
rest. I'm mostly high on ITD -160 on this fight, tho
Eric Montano +350 Randy Brown just lost to Graves who pretty
much purely just wrestles you.
Albert Morales +100 vs...Alejandro Perez here is a TUF winner
and has been good since that fight he got finished within a
minute by bigger, really aggressive guy. He hasn't fought the
best guys tho. Probably his best outing was beating
Jorgenson's leg like it was Uriah vs Aldo again. I still like Morales
tho b/c he really fires back with his strikes when leg struck
and like Perez last loss he's the bigger, more aggressive,
athletic guy. Morales is pretty green tho, I'm pretty bummed
the line was immediately so close. Might lay off as Perez is
techincally more from the
