Stuff from China. Liu started his pro career 0-4 but has since has won 11 of his last 12, all in his homeland. That record might look impressive to some people, but to me it seems likely opponents were low quality for to inflate his Chinese ranking, and winning 12 out of last 12 probably would look too suspicious, so he lost one. Liu, I'm expecting, will get beat up first time outside his country, by finally facing some decent competition. He'll fight Pole Stasiak, who has 7 submissions.

There shows the difference in selection of quality of opponents. Throw in Jet Lag,  China to Germany is -6 hours,  Poland to Germany, is zero hours.  Advantage Stasiak

After some digging, I was able to find some more recent tape of Pingyuan Liu. He is always looking for the finish, and his game plan is fairly simple as he pushes opponents back against the cage with aggressive striking while looking for a takedown, where when the fight goes to the ground he is constantly looking for submissions. Liu's last fight lasted all of about 5 seconds as he knocked his opponent out cold with a left hook, although I'm not sure why the tale of the tape before the fight showed Liu's record as 7-0.

Stasiak is coming off of two tough losses, the last of which ended with Kelleher knocking him out in the third round after a beating. Assuming Stasiak has recovered from the losses mentally, this is very much a fight he can win. He will look to clinch as soon as possible and take the fight to the ground where he is patient in looking for an opening to lock in a submission.

Although you can expect Liu to come out firing early and often, similar to the way Kelleher was able to break down Stasiak, Damian will likely duck under Liu's wild strikes and clinch, at which point his grappling should be superior and he will look for a takedown. Even if Liu manages a takedown, Stasiak has shown to be crafty in scrambling to a dominant position. To add to his superior grappling, Stasiak should also have the better Jiu Jitsu and will look to use that to finish the fight.

Liu's level of opposition has been abysmal, and I'm looking for Stasiak to avoid Liu's power and use his crafty grappling to lead to a submission win.

I&#x27;ve watched some of Liu&#x27;s previous fights. He is susceptible to scissor lock around his neck, that type of submission.
