Ok bro. Not sure how much UFC you've watched, but these 2 fighters are not on the same level. The ONLY thing Lewis has going for him is 1 punch knockout power. And even then, his stand up is SUPER sloppy, and he barely has any ground game. This fight is a complete mismatch IMO.

Expect a similar approach from DC as when he fought Anthony Johnson.
Yep, I get that Lewis has 1 punch knockout power. I just think his standup is REALLY sloppy, and he's been picked apart by lesser strikers than DC. I know that standup isn't necessarily DC's strength, but I feel he just has WAY more ways to win than Lewis. Part of my feeling about this fight has to do with my belief that Stipe should've been given a rematch vs Lewis getting a shot, but I may be biased.

Agree with you as Cormier does have more ways to win. It sounds like he's taking this fight on short notice so he can stick to his final two fight plan, the second of which being against Brock Lesnar and then retiring. Lewis has nothing to lose in this spot, and my understanding is that DC's hand is still not fully recovered from the Miocic fight.
The whole point of the thread is to get some conversation and insight going on the card's matchups, so no worries Skanless. Not sure why the formatting gets messed up like that as I prefer to use the old format but it looks fine when you switch it to the new format.

Hope DC gets KTFO
Pound for pound champ my butt. He needed Jones to get popped and stripped to be LHW champ and that Miocic fight was BS the way he lead with his hands open. Wonder where he learned that move...DC will retire that way he can make himself believe he was/is the greatest ever and Bones cheated to beat him and to never have to face that guy ever ever again
This fight is a mismatch in every way possible but these are HW's so nothing is a given. Lewis looks so sloppy sometimes and you'd have to think DC will be much quicker and will look to take him down with trips and wear out the beast. May try the +500 on fight night but hard not to see DC not getting the W
