Another event, another win! 3-0 on low juice plays and ready to bang out another winner for UFC 183. Friend has done his due diligence with a quick turnaround we have UFC 183. He's pointed out a juicy gift from the bookies with Tim Boetsch @ 4.60. He asserts that the line is wrong and this line is just way too incredible to pass up. He believe Thales Leites is overrated and that Boetsch has enough tools to likely come out with the win.

Tim Boetsch 4.60 (The line will get worse so hit it early)

I'm well aware of when the fights occurred.  

But it is pretty obvious about what he is trying to do here, with his deceiving posters.  He termed his most recent plays as "low vig" plays to avoid the loss on Gagnon.

Don't buy into the nonsense.  Everything has been posted and documented, including his "inside information" play on Gagnon.

This is true.  By his terminology, this underdog bet on Boetsch would not make him 4-0, because it is not a "low vig play" whatever that is.  It is a big underdog, like Gagnon was.
 
Regardless, I will have to say the picks have been profitable so far.

If the Tavares and Okami fights teach us anything, it's that Boetsch is never out of a fight. Boetsch has decent TDD in comparison to leites's takedown ability. Leites has improved striking, but that Boetsch power is scary for sure. From a betting perspective, it's dog or pass IMO. I'll probably pass, but good luck.

I'm not only playing this fight on account of the immense value of Boetsch but I have a strong lean from someone who I have extreme confidence in. Told me a few things regarding the 2 fighters that will become apparent when fight happens

On the other end of the spectrum, Leites has looked great lately with 7 wins in a row. Boetsch has had a shaky recent history - come from behind against Tavares, got styled on by Rockhold, was gifted a decision in a robbery against dolloway, crushed my Munoz, dominated by Phillipou, gifted a boring decision to Lombard, come from behind against Yushin. It's been nearly 4 years since he dominated a fight, against nick ring (oh no you didn't).

I'm confident a power punch isn't out of the question, but Thales is years ahead in grappling and probably a little better striker at this point. I doubt Boetsch employs takedowns. What wins the fight? Clinch/cage control? Possible, but that gives Leites opps at trip takedowns which he's pretty good at.

Really, I just want to give him the opportunity to stop all of his critics. If he gives solid info that ends up being true, the charade will stop and he can go on with his inside info stuff. Let's say he says his friend told him that "Boetsch, who never uses leg kicks, has been training nothing but leg kicks for this fight and will outpoint Leites with nothing but leg kicks". If that actually happened, I'd be willing to give the guy a break and I'm sure others would too. By asking the question, it gives him that opportunity. If he doesn't answer, I assume most reasonable people can deduct that he's a BS artist.

The info on Gagnon was very good. ( if it was info, if it was a feeling... even better ) Gagnon vs barao was a close fight until the 3rd round, which most people never saw coming. at one point I could have gotten mitch at 1 to win 10, THAT'S INSANE.

If you think that good info his only when a 10 to 1 underdog wins, you don't understand value. I picked barao in that fight and I think after seeing the fight play out, that the smart play was Gagnon.

Mars101 don't listen to people that are negative, I think that your 4 picks were good. But you should really count the Gagnon fight into your record. Don't see why you wouldn't

And I think the Tim b his a good value bet, not saying it will win but at 4.8 against a guy that although a superior fighter, tim his a bad matchup for him.
