A great card is here for UFC 126, I have a lot of action, including my largest wager in the last 365 days on an MMA fight.  My biggest wagers to date on MMA fights were Melendez over Aoki, Carwin over Mir, and Rampage over Rashad.  Rampage obviously lost, but the other two won with ease.  This play is bigger then all 3.  

Vitor Belfort +235 for 18 units
KID Yamamoto -120 for 3 units
Ricardo Romero +105 for 2 units
Forrest Griffin +145 for 5 units
Carlos Eduardo Rocha +250 for 1 unit
Cerrone/Taylor parlay 2 units to win 2.06 units
Belfort to win in Round 1 +700 for .5 unit

I am surprised to see you have no action on the Jones vs Bader fight, any thoughts on it?

Keep in mind, a +230 underdog CAN lose.  Don't go overboard if you disagree with my play.

I think the line is fairly accurate where it is right now.  I think Jones will win, but not worth the juice to me.  I also like it to go the distance, but again not worth a play for me.

I agree the line is appropriate and a lot of juice but rightfully so...again good luck with your large wager I have no action on it but will be rooting for you

Wow, 18 units on Belfort...

I think if Belfort does not get the KO in the first round like you think, he is going to fade...

...very long injury layoff as well...

I really think Silva bounces back strong after being embarrassed by Sonnen last time out.  

However, even though I am on Silva, I am still rooting for you...

expecting a pretty fast KO from Belfort huh? I think that's his best chance.. the first 2 rounds. Belfort hasn't fought at middleweight in a long time... I like the Rocha play though

Thanks bud.  Appreciate the kind words.  I think Vitor has until the middle of the 3rd to win this fight.  Past that, its likely over for him.  However I really think he does, obviously by my wager.

I am concerned with Anderson losing the striking battle to Maia in the last round of that fight, and getting outstruck by Sonnen for most of the standing exchanges.  Now he gets a guy much faster, with more power.  Of course Anderson won those fights though......

More reasons without going into depth, but it all starts from the striking advantage I think Vitor possesses.

I went to the Sonnen/Silva fight and Silva was getting outstruck from the opening bell. People were saying he had an injured rib that prevented him from holding his hands up high. We'll see. He is getting up there in age and your reflexes go first.

I need Forrest Griffin big time.  I got a 4 team par with 2 basketball games that already won, Forrest, and the under of the Super Bowl.  I put it in for $90 to win $1500.

Forrest will get crushed.  He is outgunned on the feet and has a weak chin.  I like the Belfort play.  Good luck.

Other than Rocha (I didn't play him but feel he has a live chance) and Griffin I am almost on the same plays. I really like Vitor too.  God bless.

I think you are severely underrating Forrest skills compared to Rich.  Both fighters are very similar in skillset, not great at anything, but decent at everything, with Franklin a speed advtange, and Forrest a size advantage.  Forrest has thrived against fighters much more talented then Rich before (Shogun and Rampage) but has also given us some lackluster performances (Silva and Evans).
