Thompson? Yeah...No

Alot of love on here for Roy hobbs.  Question is...why? At that short price?  Against a guy who is arguably unbeaten vs the elite of the elite?  A guy proven over the 5 round distance who's seen all styles from GSP to Condit to Lawler?

I don't see him stuffing nearly enough takedowns here. It's a bad matchup for Thompson. The money coming in knocking this line down is similar to the Bader money. Dumb money. Keep blinded by long winning streaks against much lesser fighters. Don't be fooled.

Completely agree with you. I think the only reason the line is not higher is because of previous weight issues.

I think Thompson has a 50% to win here.  Hendricks is a beast but I think if Thompson uses his length to his advantage tonight we may just see that upset.  I see this line being so low in an opposite light.  I think the sucker money is going the other way.  When it looks to low,  too easy---well Whappaaa---public left wondering just what happened.  I am just playing devils advocate here---Personally think Hendricks wins a controversial crazy fight that goes the distance.  Another Condit Lawler type decision.....I am laying off---unless I get itchy fingers.  bol to all

I can't see this going 5 rounds in Wonderboys favor. All he has is striking. A 5 rounder will be a lot of Hendricks on top and winning rounds. If Wonderboy does pull off an upset which I think he's way over his head and won't, it will be by flash KO

In same cases yes.. But not when your matched up against an NCAA All American division 1 wrestler

No one broke down why Hendricks would win. Wonderboy has the best striking in mma, not counting pure strength. His take down defence was strong, watch the replay. This is a situation where he is facing someone too talented. He doesnt have the tools to combat Wonderboy's striking and slip in takedowns. He's predictible.
