I follow the UFC, but for some reason I don't remember or know who Mighty Mouse, the Hippo and Uncle Creepy are. What are their names? My memory is shot, from to many shots of whiskey in my life.

anybody catch that Alves weighed 197, 3 hrs after weigh in... how is that possible?

Unreal, when he DOES make the 170 lbs, he hits the jackpot on his weigh and on his bank account (no 20% fine)

Seems he's got it down to a science now.  But he doesn't use the extra weight as well to his advantage based on his style.  He isn't a dirty boxing guy with clinching against the cage, and he isn't going to lay on top of anyone after taking someone down.  

I wouldn't read too much into it based on his style.  Just my thoughts.

Hope he wins though!  I have no plays, nothing struck me for this card.!

Hoff, I'm honestly leaning kampmann but this is one of those situations where everyone is on alves and I'd be stupid not to play alves. Maybe alves by dec. especially since this is a 3 rnder

Definitely not stupid to sit this one out. I can see both fighters winning, but just loved Alves when he opened at -110.

I'm already on Jordan, but I think an early Jordan/Te Huna parlay is a good way to start the festivities...

also liking Alves/Kampmann goes distance at -200

Wife and kids just left house. A cocktail, a little puff, some gambling and fights at 4 pm, off to dinner and the oiler game in a couple hours. Gonna be a good little Friday night. Gotta love these free fights and the televised prelums
