This guy is a neanderthal idiot. WSOF should be embarrassed to have this guy as their champ. Commissions should penalize this behaviour. And he hides behind Jesus like he's a good guy. 

I didn't bet on this fight. I'm not even a big Shields' fan. But I'm still pissed about this disgusting event

what a piece of crap Palhares is.  Resorting to eye-gouging?  I didn't watch the fight but saw an interview of Shields and his face  looked totally abnormal.  Truly, for the good of the sport, he should be banned from any reputable organization.  I have to admit I would tune in again if he fought just to enjoy seeing him get pounded like the times he fought Belcher or Lombard.

If the Diaz brothers hadn't already been kicked out of the venue before their boy was guaged and jus about had his shoulder ripper apart they would have been all over palters' camp. That would have been a beauty actually!

the reason he got kicked from the UFC was garbage. the guy's a beast. so when pettis little brother got kicked in the behind after he lost why didn't that guy get kicked out like everyone else that does late crap. whatever though i got paid

now that i watched the fight. mazagati warns him about taking a point and then warns him 2 more times in the same round. way to back up your word steve. oh and then palharres rapes his arm, and shields has a GREASY late punch after mazagati stops it. palharres gets suspension what a laugh. the fingers to the eyes were odd and should have got a point taken but he dominated and shields punched him after it ended like a baby
