Question

The one thing that sucks about betting mma is that the judging is so iffy sometimes... I mean come on... a takedown is not the mortal victory. This is mma not college wrestling. If you take someone down and they constantly throw submissions at you and land more sig strikes from their back than you do from the top. You should not win that round.

The fact that Guida just won that fight sort of bothers me. A judge really scored the fight 30-27? How its about as bad when the judge scored the fight 30-27 for Melvin Guilard. Its almost like they know ppl are taking the 5dimes bets where u can take a guy +3.5 rds... and they are trying to make you lose out on it.

I also hate Clay Guida... for what Dana says about wanting exciting fighters, I am actually surprised that Guida has a job with the UFC... I really really really hate watching him fight. Its like watching a college wrestling match with less action.

i don&#x27;t have a problem with Guida winning it... i honestly think this fight came down to that one body-slam in the 2nd round... but basically the fight was so dead even that either guy could win justifiably...however, the fact that one judge scored the fight 30-27 is extremely suspect... definitely should never be allowed to judge another UFC fight...

Guida did absolutely nothing all 3 rounds. Guy used to be fun to watch, now he just dances around and flips his hair around and lays on guys doing absolutely nothing. Hioki was better on standup and did way more on the ground than Lay Guida. I would cut Guida myself, his fights have become beyond boring and he seems to have actually gotten worse as a fighter.

Not sure why UFC rewards a takedown that has zero follow up so much, but a Greg Jackson rule should be made because it's mostly his fighters that seem to employ this strategy.

Are you arguing that it was in fact 29-28 Guida, or that Hioki won....?
