This thing would be huge for the sport. Why not.

It was a great match, could have gone either way. Entertaining and technical, everything you could want...unless you lost $ on McGregor and if so it SUKD loll

Seems like we may get the rematch here soon. Maybe during the summer? Conor taking so much time off between fights doesn’t seem to be a good strategy.

My personal take. Connor not hungry no more. Super wealthy. A dad now. Already been at the top numerous times. Has numerous ventures making him money his own whiskey n whatever else. He dont need money not hungry. Poirer never been at the top still training hard i dont think connor wanted it as much as dustin just my opinion

Well looks like McGregor out 6 months with a bone injury.

Man that sux...

I do have respect for McGregor. I was on Poirier but how can you not like Conor McGregor. No wonder he's popular.

yeah agree taking too much time off means you're rusty coming back-and he said as much. And the wealth factor. I think the fight got his juices flowing again, shame he might have to take a step back cause of injury.

I knew this would happen to him fellas.

he's got all the money in the world. Sure he can be a dad and fly on custom planes and all that...but that gets old. He's got a wife but even if he didn't it gets old with groupies.

This guy McGregor is a born fighter, and only being in the fight game-fighting or commenting or coaching-will make him happy.

They can make Connor/Dustin 3..they just can't make it for the Belt.....Connor is the most overrated fighter ever...he has 2 total lightweight wins...Alvarez and Diaz...GTFOH......Giving him title shots just because he is a draw would cause ruckus among other lightweights.....

What fighter gets knocked out in the 2nd round and gets a title shot an_roll_laugh

He's not even close to being the most overrated ever, but certainly does not deserve a title shot. Needs at least 3 quality wins IMO.

Funny because if you actually followed UFC, you'd know plenty of fighters coming off losses got title shots and bunch coming off being finished. ie Alex Gustafsson, Ronda Rousey.

And to say Conor NOT CONNOR is the most overrated fighter means you started watching UFC in 2018, which is fine, but just means you're completely uneducated and talk out of your asss. Was he overrated when he won his first 6 UFC fights and then KOd aldo in 13 seconds?
