I missed the opening price in the AXS TV main event tonight, but I think
Aguilar has good cardio and also better striking than Jackson. Five
rounds gives Aguilar more opportunities to catch The Leech on the feet
even if he gets taken down. The new judging criteria also favors strikes
and damage over Jackson's hugging. In the female flyweight title fight,
Bassett's highlights show what appear to be good striking, albeit
against lower level opponents. That combined with KBG's inconsistency
and the big price make her a good dog bet in my opinion. In the other
bettable bout, Charles who I am not very familiar with, has a lot of
submissions and Krantz has lost by sub more than once. As you can see in
the weigh-in video Charles also has a size advantage. Hopefully dogs
are barking tonight.
