The 32-year-old wrestler’s base pay, according to figures released by
the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Friday, dwarfs that of
opponent, Shane Carwin, who’s slated to make $40,000 plus another $40,000 in bonus pay should he topple Lesnar on Saturday
Thoughts? IMO another reason to back Carwin.
Carwin +123 Carwin wins in first round +320 Carwin wins in second round +670

If Carwin wins, he will be making some good paydays. It is truly sickening what Lesnar was paid to come into MMA.
Fedor, and Lesnar = Great white Hype.
Time to take out the hype machine and see some young new talent that is hungry for it step up.
Keep in mind, it's business first. Fedor and Lesnar are HUGE money making machines for the business. If this was Cain vs Junior Dos Santos, it wouldn't generate NEARLY the amount of money that Lesnars' name is and those are the two best young heavyweights out there.. Dana White is VERY smart to pay Brock this much and I wouldn't be surprised if Brock isn't getting a small percentage of the PPV buys. It's all about the dollar.
Bottom line is, there isn't ANY fight in the UFC that can bring as much money in as Lesnar does. Don't be surprised if his "Guarantee" goes up after his contract is up. Dana White loves money too much to let Brock go any where else. Besides, Brock is only 32 and could probably be a monster draw for a minium of 5 years to come.

Also, Lesnar didn't start out making $400g guaranteed. He started with $200g with a chance to double it with a win. Now he has that since he won the belt. Plus he's made Dana A LOT of money in his 5 fights in the UFC.
I think Lesnar makes more than double on merchandise and sponsors. He is a marketing machine right now and you know he is commanding top dollar fromt he sponsors.

no doubt he deserves every penny for the revenue he has created for the UFC. unfortunate that carwin could not finish.
