Anderson Silva (-365) over Sonnen, lock in now?

My book has released a line for this fight and I have to say I fully expect Anderson Silva to obliterate Chael Sonnen in this one. After everything that happened last fight and now with Sonnen running his mouth I think we get a vintage performance out of Silva.  This one gets close to -500 by fight time I am guessing.

What do you guys think?

What do you have the line at now? I'm thinking Silva will try to finish him like he did Forrest.  Sonnen is no push over though....he has great wrestling skills and can give Silva a run for his money.

rather watch it get worse and jump on sonnen, if silva repeats his perfornace he loses convincingly

I'm guessing the line is only going to get worse for Silva.  I also see Silva finishing this fight in dominating fashion.  I would lock a low number in early. 

..... that being said, I'm on an absolute horrible run in MMA lately.  Baseball and the occasional basketball bet are keeping me from sinking.  I was very excited for Penn, Silva, Hendo, and Mousasi all to be fighting within a week of each other.  After the fights ... not so excited.

I'm ready to turn it around.

I recommend you lock it in early... Im tempted to bet on it too but im going to probably stay away.

You should have took it at -325 that bookmaker had up for over a day.I saw it goes up from here but there are alot of nuts jobs that think Sonnen has a chance so who knows.

 

This could end up like the Gracie-Hughes line and go way up and come back down close to fight time,I doubt it though.I say lock in now

i wouldnt do it, lot of pressure on anderson to actually fight, and we know sonnen wont back down so i think this wont go to a decision... sonnen will be agro and i think will get knocked out..

That's the thing I don't see him repeating his performance. I think he rights the ship and sends a message especially since Sonnen won't let a sleeping dog lay.

There are plenty of us on a bad run but look at all the upsets? When was the last time you saw so many large upsets like this? I am willing to bet the dog run is over and start backing my usual favorites. It's almost like playing the stock market sometimes haha.

it should be -250-275 i would think with the pressure Danna is putting on him....

Silva wins this at least 85% of the time. If your bankroll is liquid enough, I'd lock it in now.

I think everyone on here is clueless, Anderson has talked about retiring at the age of 34, when we all know mma fighters can go until there 40. He talks about retiring and getting fat and eating mcdonalds, he talks about how one day he knows he will lose.

I have no doubt in my mind A.Silva is a bad ass dude and a crazy fighter, but the desire to fight does not seem to be there anymore, at least at 185, at 205 he's finished 2 fights in under 3 minutes total.

Anderson at anything over -300 is zero value anyways, why take that chance and lay that much juice for a guy who doesn't engage anymore?

sorry, let me clarify myself....

History does often repeat itself (silva 3 bad performances) and im not saying it will (that he does some stupid showboating against sonnen) but he does put out a poor performance, I see chael taking advantage and getting silva to the ground and dropping elbows on him.

not history repeating itself saying silva has gotten elbows dropped on him...
